Long Island has highest COVID-19 positivity rate in New York State

East Farmingdale, NY-  COVID-19 cases in the United States have been rising over the past few weeks.  The Associated Press says infections jumped to an average of about 23,000 a day on Monday, up from 11,300 on June 23rd, blaming the rising infection rates on the Delta variant, the 4th of July among other various gatherings.  And on Long Island, COVID-19 numbers are also on the rise.  According to data from New York State Health Officials, Long Island has the highest seven-day-positivity rate in New York State.
