Middle Island, NY- Police in Suffolk say a body was found on the side of the road yesterday morning in Middle Island. Officials say a person was walking along Whiskey Rd near Creekside Drive around 7:30am on Sunday morning when they made the discovery. Detectives do not know if the person’s death was criminal or non-criminal in nature. Anyone with information is asked to call the Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
