PSEG Long Island says they are ready for Tropical Storm Elsa

Judy Torres explains that she can't use the front entrance to her house after a branch from a tree that fell onto her next-door neighbor's house fell onto her front steps, taking live power lines with it, Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, in New York. The damage was caused when Tropical Storm Isaias made it's way through the area Tuesday afternoon. Torres and area residents also have no power due to the fallen trees damaging the power lines. East Farmingdale, NY- PSEG Long Island, says they are ready for any potential power problems that might accompany Tropical Storm Elsa.  Last August, when Tropical Storm Isaias passed to the west of Long Island, winds reached 78mph at Republic Airport in Farmingdale and over 500,000 Long Islanders were without power for over a week.  In an email to customers on Wednesday, the power company urged residents to download their app to report outages and track the progress of repairs.
