East Farmingdale, NY- Forecasters are keeping a close watch on the path of Tropical Storm Elsa. WALK-FM Chief Meteorologist Pat Pagano says, “as Elsa moves up along the coast Thursday… Showers and thunderstorms are possible late in the day or at night. Late Thursday night into the first half of Friday, rain, maybe heavy at times and winds will be gusty especially along the coast and over the east end of Long Island. Rainfall from Thursday night into Friday, 1-2 inches. Winds 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 miles per hour are possible.
