Smithtown, NY- There was a stabbing on Wednesday afternoon at a Suffolk County Park. Police say two older men got into an argument near the camp grounds at Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown and one man, stabbed the other. The victim, age 60, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Brian O’Connor, 62, of 5 Avon Lane in Middle Island, is facing charges including assault and is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday in Central Islip.
