East Farmingdale, NY- Temperatures are expected to soar today and tomorrow with a Heat Advisory in effect from Noon on Monday through 8pm on Tuesday. High temperatures should reach upper 90’s for the city, Nassau and Western parts of Suffolk County. Health experts say the high temperatures can be especially difficult for young children under the age of 4, pregnant women, the elderly and pets.
A High Rip Current Risk is in effect through Monday night at the South Shore Ocean Beaches in Nassau and Suffolk.
