Yaphank, NY- A 25 year old Port Jefferson Station woman was killed Wednesday night in a crash in Yaphank. Officials say Candice Ogiejko was driving a 2019 Dogge Ram northbound on County Road 101, when she lost control of her vehicle at approximately 8:40pm. Police say Ogiejko’s vehicle skidded across CR 101 and crashed into a curb, fence and several large trees before landing in an embankment near a parking lot on the northwest corner by Old Dock Road. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call Suffolk’s Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552
