PD: Guns, ammunition & psychedelic mushrooms found in vehicle

Franklin Square, NY-  Weapons, ammunition, empty shell casings and psychedelic mushrooms were among the items Nassau County Police say they found inside a vehicle parked in front of a fire hydrant Wednesday in Franklin Square.  Officials say the they observed what appeared to be a firearm on the rear drivers side floor board next to ammunition and empty shell casings.  Officers recovered three recovered three unregistered, loaded firearms (a Sig Sauer P365 9mm, a P. Beretta-Model 950 B-Cal 6.35, and a Glock26 9mm) along with a large polymer pistol frame used to build a gun from scratch. Additionally police say they also recovered 6.6 grams of hallucinogenic psilocybin mushrooms.

 

Anthony Cinelli, 26, of Miller Place and Marina Rubio, 26 of Farmindale were arrested on multiple charges and scheduled to see a judge on Thursday in Mineola.

 

Cinelli is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, two counts of Unlawful Possession Large Capacity Ammunition Deeding Device, and two counts of Unlawful Possession Certain Ammo Feeding Devices Not in Home in the 1st degree. Defendant Rubio is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree.
