Huntington, NY- A Huntington Station man was arrested on Friday morning after allegedly firing a gun in the air. Suffolk County Police say they responded to a 911 call about possible gunshots on Elm Street in Huntington at approximately 1:30 a. m on June 18th. Police say officers obtained a description of the suspect and located him on Fairview Street with a loaded .380 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun. Tyshon Parker, 24 was arrested and charged with Prohibited Use of a Weapon and Criminal Poof a Weapon. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
