East Farmingdale, NY- The National Hurricane Center and WALK-FM Chief Meteorologist Pat Pagano, are keeping a close watch on a weather system in the Bay of Campeche which some believe, could turn into a Tropical Storm.  Pagano, says the storm “will begin to get more organized on Friday” and predicts it will “become a Tropical Storm before heading to the Louisiana-Texas coasts this weekend”.  If the storm does strengthen into a Tropical Storm, it will be named Claudette and after soaking the Gulf Coast, Pagano says the “remnants of rain and wind, could move northeast and affect us (Long Island) early next week”.
