Thousands of NY 911 dispatchers could soon be classified as first responders

East Farmingdale, NY- Thousands of 911 dispatchers in New York State, could soon be classified as first responders.  The bill which passed the New York State Legislature on Tuesday now heads to the Governor’s desk to be signed.
