Suffolk launches #CampVax with incentives for campers & staff to get vaccinated

East Farmingdale, NY-  Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, announced a new program on Monday called CampVax, an initiative designed to encourage campers and staff in Suffolk County to get vaccinated this summer.  Some of the incentives for getting vaccinated at the pop-up events include, ice cream cones, tickets to Splish Splash, Adventureland, The Long Island Aquarium & The Long Island Ducks.

The #CampVax walk-in PODS this week include:

·      Tuesday, June 8 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Patchogue-Medford Library

·      Wednesday, June 9 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Pronto of Long Island in Bay Shore

·      Thursday, June 10 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the H. Lee Dennison Building in Hauppauge

·      Thursday, June 10 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the SCCC Ammerman Campus in Selden
