State extends pop-up vaccine events at Penn Station & Grand Central with free transit perks

East Farmingdale, NY-  The pop-up COVID-19 vaccination sites at Penn Station and Grand Central will be extended for another week.  New York State officials made the announcement on Thursday saying that New Yorker’s who get vaccinated at either of the two major transit hubs in the city, will get the perk of a a seven-day MetroCard or a free round trip ticket for the Long Island Rail Road or Metro-North.
