PManorville, NY- A man was shot and killed by a Police Officer on Long Island. Officials in Suffolk say on Thursday night May 20th, they received a call about a ,”suspicious person laying in the back seat of a parked vehicle”, in front of 67 Bauer Ave in Manorville. Police say an officer from the Seventh Precinct arrived at the scene at approximately 10:45 p.m., and got into a confrontation with the victim and fired his weapon. Police say a knife was recovered from the unidentified man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
