Yaphank, NY- Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers, Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit and the Suffolk County Police Arson Section are offering a $2,000 dollar cash reward for information that leads to arrest of the people who vandalized a mosque earlier this month. Police say two people entered a fenced in area at the Islamic Center of Suffolk County, located at 124 3rd St., on May 17 at approximately 2 a.m. and burned a religious flag and painted graffiti on the flag base. Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers at 1-800-224-TIPS.
