PD: Vandals burned a religious flag and wrote political graffiti at a Long Island mosque

Brentwood, NY-  Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit and Arson Detectives say the Islamic Center of Suffolk County was vandalized on Monday morning.  Police say a religious flag was burned at the Brentwood mosque and political graffiti was written on the flag’s baseline. Detectives say the damaged property at 124 3rd Street, happened around 2am on May 17th.  Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
