East Farmingdale, NY- As temperatures start to rise, more Long Islanders will have access this year to beaches and pools.  State officials announced Wednesday that pools and beaches in New York State can open by Memorial Day without capacity limits, so long as 6 feet of social distancing can be maintained.  New York Governor Andrew Cuomo also said that if the numbers keep going the way they’re going, beaches and pools could reopen at 100% capacity by the 4th of July.
