New Hyde Park, NY- Northwell Health is sending supplies, equipment and funds to help India battle the coronavirus. In a press release from the company, Northwell says in conjunction with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, 1 million KN95 respirators, 35 ventilators and 1,000 oxygen concentrator’s will be sent to help COVID-19 relief efforts underway in India. In addition, a fund has been established which will direct funds to support COVD-19 relief. Northwell says the first batch of supplies left JFK on May 4th and they expect the rest of the equipment to reach India by the end of the week.
