Police say an 8-month-old baby has died following a hit-and-run accident between two cars in Wyandanch.
The crash happened on Davidson Street near Pine Street around 9 p.m. Sunday night
One of the cars overturned and the driver fled the scene on foot, while the child and the child’s mother both passengers in the car, were rushed to the hospital.
The driver of the other car suffered minor injuries.
