Nassau offers $20K reward to find person who attacked Hofstra student with acid

Elmont, NY- There’s now a $20,000 reward being offered to find the person who doused a Hofstra student with acid earlier this month.  Police say the suspect has been described as male, 6’2″ and was seen driving a 2013 to 2015 red Nissan Altima with a yellow NY license plate.  Nassau County Executive Laura Curran, “The horrific acid attack on Nafiah Ikram in Elmont is under active investigation by our Police Department. What happened to Nafiah is unacceptable, and we are committed to getting to the bottom of it.” Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County  Crime Stoppers or 911.
