East Quogue, NY- Officials in Suffolk are investigating a fire on town property that killed a box turtle. Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers say the fire on April 10th, burned about a half acre of Southampton Town Woodlands near Josiah Foster Path and Eisenhower Drive. The fire was reported at approximately 2:55pm. Anyone with information about who started the fire, is asked to call Suffolk County Police Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
