Elmont, NY- A fire broke out Tuesday night at Belmont Racetack Horse Stables. The Elmont, Valley Stream and Floral Park Fire Fepartments responded to the scene at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont, just after 6pm. Police say two of the horses didn’t survive the fire and three Belmont employees suffered minor smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
