Deer Park- Police say a Long Island woman called them on Tuesday morning after she found cats in her engine. Officials say the cats were stuck inside the engine block of the woman’s vehicle on Tell Avenue in Deer Park. First Precinct and Emergency Service Section officers successfully removed the cats. Police say the cats were then transported to a local animal shelter.
