(East Farmingdale, NY)-  With Spring right around the corner, WALK-FM Chief Meteorologist Pat Pagano, has released his “Spring 2021 Forecast” for Long Island.

APRIL 2021

  • FIRST FEW DAYS –  FAIR – COOL.
  • 1ST SHOWERS START AND END OF THE WEEK – FAIR IN BETWEEN
  • 2ND CLEARING – SHOWERS LATE
  • 3RD FAIR-CHILLY…WARMING UP – HEAVY STORMS LATE
  • 4TH MAINLY FAIR AND PLEASANT

MAY 2021

  • 1ST SHOWERS THEN NICE
  • 2ND PARTLY SUNNY..SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS OR STORMS
  • 3RD VERY NICE – LATE THUNDERSTORMS
  • 4TH PARTLY SUNNY – WINDY AND WARMER – LATE SHOWERS

JUNE 2021

  • 1ST WEEK…SUNNY – LATE STORMS
  • 2ND SHOWERS THEN NICE
  • 3RD STARTING NICE THEN STORMS LATE – MAY BE ON THE ROUGH SIDE
  • 4TH FAIR AND WARM – SOME SHOWERS
  • LAST FEW DAYS – SUNNY- WARM

SUMMARY:

  • SHOULD BE A WARMER AND DRIER SEASON COMPARED TO NORMAL.
  • EASTER WEEKEND COULD POSE A THREAT FOR SOME RAIN.
  • MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND SHOULD BE ON THE WARM SIDE WITH A CHANCE OF SOME SHOWERS.
