(East Farmingdale, NY)  The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory, in effect for Long Island through 4pm on Tuesday.  Winds could gusts up to 50 miles per hour.  Gusting winds could take down trees or power lines.  On their website, PSEG Long Island says if you see downed power lines stay at least 300 feet away and give them a call immediately.
