(East Farmingdale, NY)-  New York State cancelled COVID-19 vaccine appointments for Tuesday, February 2, 2020 for the following locations; Stony Brook, Jones Beach, Aqueduct Racetrack, the Javits Center & the Westchester County Center, the state’s website says these appointments will be rescheduled.

Nassau County Executive Laura Curran joined WALK 97.5 News Director Brett Levine on air Tuesday morning to explain that the Nassau County Department of Health did not have any scheduled vaccine appointments for Monday but Curran said, “we did have some today, which we’re going to push out to the end of the week but we are committing to getting everyone who had an appointment today vaccinated, getting that dose- within the next six or seven days”.  When asked how the appointments would be rescheduled, Curran said, “the Health Department will reach out to them directly”.
