(West Islip, NY) A Long Island woman died in a car crash, Thursday night in West Islip. Police say 27-year-old Nicole Valerius, was driving westbound on Sunrise Highway Service Road, just east of Deer Park Avenue, when she lost control of her vehicle, a 2004 Acura MDX, crashed and flipped over. Valerius was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Anyone with information is asked to call the Third Precinct at 631-854-8352.
