State prepares to increase vaccination speed

(East Farmingdale, NY)-  Governor Andrew Cuomo, announced on Tuesday, that New York State is working to ramp up the pace of COVID-19 vaccination process.  Cuomo called on Federal officials to increase the supply of the vaccine to New York, which he says is only allotted 300,000 dosages per week.  Cuomo said once health care workers are done being vaccinated, the next group in line for the vaccine, are essential workers and people over the age of 75, which is estimated to be about 2.5 million people.
