(Bellport, NY)- A female pedestrian was struck and killed in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday morning in Bellport. Official’s identified the victim as, 48 year old Kristen Henaghan of Holtsville. Police say Henaghan was walking on Brookhaven Avenue, 50 feet east of Station Road around 12:30 in the morning when she was struck by a 2009 Honda Civic. The driver of the Honda, 29 year old Lloyd Richards, was not injured. The Honda was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555.
