(East Farmingdale)- Are you ready for snow?  A big winter nor’easter is on its way to our area.  Forecasters say the storm should approach on Wednesday night and continue through Thursday morning.  While the exact track of the storm is still uncertain at this time, WALK Meteorologist, Pat Pagano said we should “expect to see six to ten inches of snow for the island, the twin forks with lower amounts of snow”.  Pat also says we could see a layer of ice on the south shore mixing in or even before the snow starts to fall. The WALK 97.5, New York Cancer and Blood Specialists Storm Center, will be open with storm updates and information on closings.
