(East Farmingdale, NY)- Today marks the 40th anniversary of the death of music legend, John Lennon. The former Beatle, was shot outside his Manhattan apartment by a fan, on December 8, 1980. Fans set up a makeshift memorial at Central Park’s, Strawberry Fields with flowers, photographs, candles and other memorabilia.
