(Brookhaven, NY) A 20-year-old on a dirt bike was seriously injured over the weekend in Brookhaven. Suffolk Police say a Toyota was traveling westbound on Montauk Highway in Brookhaven when the driver attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of 7-Eleven at approximately 6:45 p.m. on November 27th. The vehicle struck an eastbound dirt bike traveling without its lights on. The operator of the dirt bike, a 20-year-old male from Bellport, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were issued summonses for unlicensed operation.
