(Islip Terrace, NY)- Suffolk County Police responded to a house fire at 39 Carleton Ave. in Islip Terrace on Saturday, November 27th at 12:34 a.m. All 17 residents from eight apartments safely evacuated the home. Two adult females were transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Carleton Avenue was closed both directions from Fischer Avenue to Manhattan Boulevard.
