(East Farmingdale, NY)-  Four Long Island towns are in “yellow zones”.  New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Monday that Massapequa Park, Great Neck, Riverhead and Hampton Bays have now been designated as Long Island COVID-19 hot spots and in an effort to slow the spread, the four communities will now need to implement new restrictions.  Some of the restrictions Long Islanders in yellow zones face include, gatherings capped at 25 participants, restaurants can only seat a maximum of four people indoors or outdoors for dining, and schools will need to test 20% of the population for the virus.  Businesses will see the restrictions go into effect on Wednesday, for schools, restrictions begin on Thursday.
