(Shirley, NY)- On Saturday, Suffolk County Police joined volunteers from the Shirley Assembly of God church for a drive through event to help feed food insecure Long Islanders. Suffolk Police say more than a dozen churches participated in the The Feed the Hope Food Drive, which was estimated to have distributed more than 500,000 pounds of food.
