(Rocky Point, NY)- Suffolk County Seventh Precinct Police Officers Karen Grenia and Vinny Palumbo responded to a 911 report of a dog stuck under the decking of a rock wall at Friendship Beach in Rocky Point on Monday, November 16 at approximately 3 p.m. The officers freed the dog using a crowbar and took it to a local veterinarian for treatment of minor injuries. The dog, a 2-year-old female Labrador Retriever named June Bug, was re-united with her owner.
