(East Farmingdale, NY)- Election officials in Suffolk County began counting absentee ballots on Monday. The process could take several days as nearly 169,000 Suffolk County residents, submitted absentee ballots this year. Newsday says election officials hope to have an answer on some of those close races, before Thanksgiving.
