(East Farmingdale, NY)- The daily COVID-19 infection rate for Long Island jumped to 3.4% on Monday. Commenting on the rising infection numbers in New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo said, “we have now entered an extremely difficult phase of the pandemic”. The NY Governor urges New Yorkers to continue to wear masks and practice social distancing. In Nassau, the COVID-19 infection rate was at 2.8% and in Suffolk, the infection rate was at 3.8% on Monday.
