(Coram, NY)- A heroic cop rescued a dog from a storm drain over the weekend in Coram. Suffolk County Police say Emergency Service Officers responded to a 911 call on Argyle Ave in Coram Saturday, November 7 at approximately 11:30 a. m.. Police say the dog, a Yorkshire Terrier named Piper, had fallen into a storm drain outside a home. An Emergency Services Officer climbed down into the drain and rescued the puppy. The dog was uninjured and returned to her owner.
