Farmingville woman arrested after weekend a house party with 200-300 people

(Farmingville, NY)-  A Long Island woman was arrested over the weekend after police responded to a large house party. Officials in Suffolk County say they received multiple 911 calls on Saturday, October 24, 2020 about about a large party at 6 Somers Court in Farmingville.  Authorities say there were approximately 200-300 people at the party.  47-year-old Kim Catalanotto, was charged with Criminal Nuisance 2nd degree and the Suffolk County Social Host Law.  Officials say additionally, a 62-year old man who lives on the street, was struck in the face by a male as the party was breaking up.  The injured man was treated for minor injuries at Stony Brook University.  Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are investigating the assault.
