(Jones Beach, NY)- A helicopter made an emergency landing because of the foggy weather on Wednesday at a Long Island beach. Nassau County Police say foggy weather conditions caused a private chopper with only one person on board to land on the water near Jones Beach around 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Officials say the 64 year old pilot suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
