A 68 year old man was killed in a house fire in East Nortport on Monday morning. Officials say the fire at 257 East 4th street, happened just before 7 a. m., on Monday morning. Officials say the victim’s 33 year old son and 62 year old wife, were able to escape the fire and were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for evaluation. The fire is believed to be non criminal. The investigation is ongoing.
