A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Sunday in Shirley. According to detectives, on October 18, 2020 at 5:20 p. m., a 2018 BMW was heading westbound on Victory Avenue, in a turning lane in front of 38 Victory Avenue, when the vehicle was struck by a 2017 Kawaski motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle, 19 year old Jayden France of Mastic Beach was transported to Long Island Community Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The occupants of the other vehicle were not injured. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the 7th precinct at 631-852-8752.
