Promoters who held a concert in Southampton are facing hefty fines from NYS

(Suffolk County, NY)- The promoters who organized a concert featuring The Chainsmokers over the summer in Southampton, are being fined $20,000 by New York State for violating social distancing rules.  Governor Andrew Cuomo called the “Safe and Sound” event, which is said to have had over 2 thousand people in attendance,  “an egregious violation” of the rules.
