Three Long Island communities are in the orange zone

Parts of three Long Island communities are in the orange zone, the middle of the  three-tiered system for attacking COVID-19 clusters in New York.

The affected areas are Inwood, Lawrence and Cedarhurst. In an orange zone, houses of worship can reach 33% capacity with a maximum of 25 people and gatherings are limited to 10 people maximum.

Other orange zone changes include the closure of high-risk nonessential businesses, like gyms and personal care. Only outdoor dining is allowed with a four-person maximum per table.and Schools will also shift to remote-only.
