Suffolk Police say a woman was shot in Central Islip early on Wednesday morning. Officials say just after midnight on August 9, 2020, several gunshots entered a house on East Halley Lane striking the woman more than once. The woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
