Nassau Police say they rescued six people from a capsized boat on Labor Day. Officials say they on Monday, September 7, 2020 at at 3:45 p.m. in Lido Beach, a boat capsized approximately 200 yards off of Nickerson Beach with six passengers aboard. All six passengers were transported to the land by Marine Bureau 1 and Bay Constable Unit #2. All passengers were evaluated at the scene. No injuries were reported.
