Wild weather on Long Island Thursday, forecasters eye Tropical Depression Laura

Severe storms swept across Long Island Thursday night.  The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch on Thursday night for Suffolk County and parts of the Long Island Sound.  News 12 reported downed trees on the North Fork.  Some towns including Lake Grove, Ronkonkoma and Patchogue saw hail and strong winds.  Meteorologists say that we could get more storms again this evening.  WALK Meteorologist Pat Pagano, says that on Saturday we could see the remnants of Hurricane Laura.  Pat says to expect strong winds Saturday on the East End and periods of rain.
