Multiple Fire Departments responded to a fire Thursday afternoon on Jericho Turnpike. Nassau Police say they received a 9-1-1 call at 12:40 on August 27, 2020, about a fire at Piccola Bussola on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola. Police say when they arrived flames engulfed the restaurant and the apartment above the restaurant. Cops say it took at least two hours and three Fire Departments to put out the blaze. Three Firefighters were injured and treated at the scene. The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.
