Authorities say two people, clinging to the side of a submerged Jet Ski, were rescued in Wantagh on Thursday afternoon. Nassau County Police Marine Bureau say on August 13, 2020 around 1:45 p. m., while on routine patrol they spotted the couple in Bellmore Channel and pulled them on board to safety. Police say both passengers, a 25 year old female and a 25 year old male, were transported to Wantagh Marina. No injuries were sustained.
